Dr Shane Zaidi, like the other oncologists in the multi-disciplinary team treating my sarcoma, is fully dedicated to providing a good treatment regime tailored to my individual need. He has a good ‘bed side’ manner and is cognisance of the fact that as a new cancer patient, my feelings and reactions can sometimes be a little confused with many highs and lows. Dr Zaidi explains the treatment in a clear and user-friendly manner and he is always happy to answer the numerous questions I have. Dr Zaidi, in my opinion, is a truly professional and dedicated doctor keeping abreast of new ways and methods of fighting sarcoma. His pleasant personality is an asset as it helps to relax me whenever I’m about to get my test result.

I am a patient at the Royal Marsden hospital, Chelsea. I had the privilege of seeing Dr Zaidi on several occasions before and during my radiotherapy treatment. He carefully explained the process and outlined the pros and cons of radiotherapy in a clear and easy manner. He also took time to explain the general prognosis of patients with a similar condition to myself but stressed that the prognosis was a generalised one. I found Dr Zaidi to be very professional each time we met and I would highly recommend him.
